I was presented with an awesome opportunity in the past week to visit French Lick, Indiana, this coming August for rounds of golf at the state’s number one- and two-rated golf courses:

The Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort:

The Donald Ross Course at French Lick Resort:

This will be the first time I will play a Donald Ross golf course, who was the esteemed designer of such legends as Pinehurst No. 2.

Built in 1917, the Donald Ross Course at French Lick Resort is 92 years older than the Dye course, and it should be interesting to play two such highly regarded courses that should differ so greatly.
