If you haven’t been living in a golfing cave, you probably already know the universal reward for Ernie Els’ huge win at the Open Championship two weekends ago: Callaway Hex Black golf balls at $27.30 a dozen.

Tomorrow, August 5, is the last day of this huge sale before they revert to their normal cost, which competes against the Pro-V1 and other top tour balls on the market.

The Callaway Hex Black is said to be Callaway’s best ball ever. With a firm, low-spin outer core, and a soft inner core, the Hex Black has done away with conventional dimples to feature instead low-profile hexagonal dimples that were engineered to cut through wind and provide controlled spin around the greens, while the soft core reduces ball spin off the tee and with longer clubs.

I recommend picking up a dozen (or six dozen) tomorrow. While the only store I have found in our area with remaining stock is the GolfSmith location in Brookfield (I may have missed some), they can still be purchased at this special price through most online retailers. You can thank me later 🙂
