This year’s US Open from Chambers Bay is one of the most anticipated in recent history. The course, only eight years old, is the first hosting site of our country’s greatest golf tournament in the Pacific Northwest and very different from anything we have seen before.

Links golf at its very best, Chambers Bay is the most beautiful golf course I have ever had the good fortune of playing. I love it so much, in fact, that I put together separate course writeups and photo galleries for each of my two visits in the past.

To check them out, please take a look at the following links:

This should be an exciting and interesting championship starting at 7:00 am Pacific time on Thursday morning. Will Tiger finally get his game back? Will Rory stomp the field like he did at Kiawah? Does Rickie have the game to pull away on a links-style track? Will the course style favor European players?

We will see. Can’t wait to see what happens this weekend and on Sunday!
