I have found myself in quite the predicament lately, thinking I need to carry around more than 14 clubs… Only for the opportunity to display more Craftsman headcovers on my bag.
I came across Craftsman Golf when I was searching for American-themed headcovers and was happy I found them. I was blown away with their selection and the amazing pricing featured on their website.

The Craftsman site features every size, shape and colored headcover you could possibly want, with material types that range from leather to plush and everything in between. The most impressive selection, in my opinion, is the matching sets. While many companies offer unique headcovers, it’s not often they feature such a wide array of full sets.
I was able to demo a set of Lucky Clover Headcovers, which included a driver, three wood, utility, putter and alignment stick covers. You can also get matching iron covers and a yardage book to complete your set.
The driver covers are advertised to fit heads up to 460cc and I would agree that any current model will fit just fine. Taking the driver on and off went smoothly and I never worried about it shaking loose while walking or riding.
Craftsman’s utility headcovers come with an adjustable dial that allows you to select the exact club underneath. This may be handy for anyone who has multiple woods or hybrids in their bag.
I also demoed both a mallet and blade style putter headcovers. Both had great quality stitching and designs, and the inside is a soft material that I found to dry quickly. I like that especially on wet mornings so my putter doesn’t rust. The magnetic closures on both are strong and I’ve had no issues with them staying closed or falling off.
Craftsman lets you personalize headcovers and other accessories with logos and lettering. I found the pricing to be quite good with a custom putter cover running around $40. The overall process for customization is the easiest I have seen with real-time editing and color changes done in the interface so you can instantly see your finished product before committing to the order. The best part is you can order 1 or 100, making this a great option whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind gift for others or just something unique for yourself.
Lightweight Stand Bag
If you are looking for a great little bag for the par 3 course or to take to the range check out the lightweight stand bags Craftsman offers. I took mine out to Sand Valley this summer and it was perfect playing the holes at the Sandbox. I found that I could fit about 7 or 8 clubs easily plus my putter.
The bag has a single strap or oversized handle if you want to carry it down the fairway. The stand legs actually extend pretty far and I was impressed with the sturdiness around the greens. I never was concerned about it tipping over.
Some of the little details on the bag are the best. There is a velcro section to attach your glove plus 3 pockets which will hold all your golf basics plus that walking beverage! Additionally, each bag comes with a rain hood which snaps on. I have rarely seen the hood as an included feature with lightweight bags.
One of the coolest features is the fact that you can swap the cover on the bag. If you want to update your style you don’t need a whole new bag. Take a look at the video below for my complete overview.
Other Golf Items
The Craftsman site has a variety of other golf items for sale. You can see an example of their selection in the photo below. I did not test anything else besides headcovers, but the pricing listed on items seems competitive based on all my experience.
A solid product at a great price. I love the headcovers that I was able to test and have gotten a lot of compliments out on the course. I think Craftsman Golf has provided a great way to update your bag for less than the cost of a round.
