I came across a top courses list by Hackers Central today that I thought was very well done, and am compelled to share it with you all:

This list is contrived by the efforts of 100 volunteers scoring each course on 60 separate facets, which relate to the following categories: Hospitality (weighted 18%), playability (23%), facilities (18%), conditions (23%), and value (18%).
Of the top 20 courses in the state of Wisconsin [for hackers or players with an 18-plus handicap], I thought it was interesting to extrapolate their top courses with relation to each major category:
