Today, in partnership with Milwaukee Uncut Podcast and presenting sponsor Annex Wealth Management, we launched the 2026 Milwaukee Area Private Club Guide.

This is one of the most time-consuming projects I’ve ever worked on through WiscoGolfAddict, with nearly six months going into putting the guide itself together – and, in many ways, years of experiences visiting, playing and photographing private clubs throughout the Milwaukee area behind it.

The idea came from something I’ve seen over and over again: There are a lot of misconceptions surrounding private club membership, and from the outside it can be difficult to understand what makes one club different from another, what membership actually looks like or where someone might fit.

At the same time, Milwaukee has an incredible collection of private golf clubs, many of which are investing significantly in their courses, facilities and overall member experience.

For this guide, I combined my own experiences at these clubs with surveys, conversations and information provided by many of the clubs themselves to create a resource designed to make this part of Milwaukee golf a little easier to understand.

The result is a look at the clubs, the golf, membership considerations, ongoing projects and some of the things that make each experience unique.

Most importantly, this isn’t meant to tell anyone which club is “best.” It’s meant to help people better understand their options and hopefully find the place that’s right for them.
