Redvanly Spring Apparel

I know shorts weather seems like a distant memory, and also forever ahead into the future, but it is coming! My closet is filled with golf clothes waiting to be worn, but I continue to replace items with pieces from Redvanly.

I was recently fortunate to test some items perfect for Spring and Summer in the Midwest and am happy to report that Redvanly continues to exceed my expectations.

Shorts

The first piece of clothing I tried were the Hanover pull-on shorts. Yet again, Redvanly has done away with the waist button for these shorts instead of opting for a stretch band. While this may seem odd at first, I absolutely love how it feels. Their size guide on the website feels right on in my opinion and while I was at the lower end of a large size they fit perfectly.

Redvanly offers 14 different color options with everything from a classic black to vibrant orange. I opted for Horizon Blue, which I think is a great option for a little flare while still pairing nicely with a lot of the shirts I already have in my closet.

Windbreaker

Redvanly offers a few different models of windbreakers, including the Baltic and Clermont models. These jackets are meant to be a nice lightweight over-layer to help block wind and very light rain.

Made of nylon and spandex, I found the jacket to be the perfect blend of form and function. I used mine for a few rounds, including the demo day at the PGA Merchandise Show this past winter in Florida, and found the jacket to provide great wind protection while also keeping me dry during several light sprinkles.

Again, I opted for a size large in the windbreaker and am glad I did. Although the sizes run true, having a large allows me to leave a quarter-zip on underneath while not feeling restricted with my swing.

One of the coolest features of this jacket is the split back panel that allows for expansion of the jacket when you move. This reduced overall constriction during the swing and, when compared to the feel of my Callaway windbreaker, I noticed a positive difference right away.

Notice how far the back panel flexed at finish of swing

I would not recommend the jacket to replace a full rain jacket by any means, but this is a great all-around piece to keep in your bag. It’s small and lightweight, and any wrinkles smoothed themselves out within 2 to 3 swings.

Final Thoughts

Although Redvanly apparel may seem like an investment, it is worth it. All of the apparel I have tried from them, including their pants and polos (read my review here), have been phenomenal, and the feel, fit and quality leaves you feeling great about yourself on and off the course. They have phenomenal customer service, as well, and all my items were shipped and received in a timely manner.

If you’re in the market for new Spring golf gear, Redvanly is a great option to check out.
